Installation

   Download the file

   Download the archive of the system you purchased (NOVA, APEX, QUANTIS or VECTOR X1) with the link in your order confirmation email, then unzip it. Keep a copy of your license key at hand.

   Open the data folder

   In MetaTrader 5, select File > Open Data Folder. A file explorer window opens at the data folder of this specific terminal installation.

   Copy the .ex5 file

   Open MQL5 > Experts and copy the .ex5 file into it. You may create a subfolder such as "Algo Market Labs" to keep files organized.

   Refresh the Navigator

   Restart MetaTrader 5, or open the Navigator (Ctrl+N), right-click "Expert Advisors" and select Refresh. The EA appears in the list.

   Allow algorithmic trading

   Open Tools > Options > Expert Advisors and check "Allow algorithmic trading".

   Allow the license server

   In the same tab, check "Allow WebRequest for listed URL" and add https://license.algomarketlabs.com to the list. Click OK to save.

   Review the automatic disable options

   Options such as "Disable algorithmic trading when the account has been changed" can switch trading off after a login or profile change. Keep them in mind if the EA stops trading unexpectedly.

   Open the chart

   Open a chart of the system's symbol and set the recommended timeframe: NOVA on ETHUSD, H4; APEX on NAS100, any timeframe (M5 recommended); QUANTIS on BTCUSD, H4; VECTOR X1 on XAUUSD, H4. Symbol names can differ between brokers (a suffix, or another name for the Nasdaq 100); the EA trades the symbol of the chart it is attached to.

   Drag the EA onto the chart

   Drag the EA from the Navigator onto the chart, or double-click it. The properties dialog opens.

   Common tab

   Check "Allow Algo Trading" so that this EA instance is permitted to send orders.

   Inputs tab

   Paste your license key into InpLicenseKey, review the risk inputs (InpRiskPct for NOVA and QUANTIS, InpRiskProfile for APEX, InpAggressiveness for VECTOR X1) and InpMaxDailyLossPct, then click OK. For APEX, in our simulated backtests, the Standard profile (1, default) takes 98% of the signals from 2,000 USD, 80% at 1,000 USD and almost none at 500 USD; the Dynamic profile (InpRiskProfile = 2, higher risk) takes them from 500 USD.

   Enable Algo Trading

   The "Algo Trading" button in the main toolbar must be green. If it is red, click it once to enable automated trading for the terminal.

• Chart icon: the EA name is displayed in the top-right corner of the chart with a hat icon (a smiley in older builds). It is blue when algorithmic trading is active and grey when it is not.
• Experts tab: MetaTrader prints a line with the EA file name, the chart symbol and the timeframe, ending in "loaded successfully" (see below). The EA has no startup banner of its own.
• Positions opened by the EA carry its name as comment (NOVA, APEX, QUANTIS or VECTOR X1), visible in the Trade tab of the Toolbox.
• If an input is outside its allowed range (for example InpAggressiveness other than 1 to 5), the EA does not start and MetaTrader reports a failed initialization in the Experts tab.

After that, the EA writes to the Experts tab only on specific events. Entries skipped because of the spread filter or the absence of a signal are not logged. A signal skipped because the broker's minimum position is too large for the account's capital is reported at most once a day (see Risk management > Capital and minimum position).
